I have worked in animal care since 1997; initially obtaining a degree in Animal Health Technology followed closely by a degree in Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland.

In 2003, I joined the team at the Animal Emergency Service.

I love the pace and adrenaline rush emergency work has to offer and find emergency work stimulating, challenging and rewarding. I also enjoy working in an environment where everyone is dedicated to such a high standard of veterinary care.

At home I am kept busy running around after my two young boys and when they are behaving it is likely that my dog, cat or birds are not!

In my spare time I enjoy scuba diving, motorcycling and snowboarding when I am able to get away from sunny Brisbane.
